| There are special drinking water tank tablets that you can use. You can buy them in every boat equipment store. You just fill up the water tank and add some tablets. Then you wait for a day or two. Then all germs and bacterias will be dead. Then pump out the water from the tank and fill it up again.
There is a red lid on top of the tank, remove it and clean the tank with chlorine+water with a clean rag every spring. Remember to empty the tank & taps every fall as well. You usually reload the tank from the deck. There is a lid on the fore of the boat that says WATER. On the water tank there are two outlets (at least on mine). One is connected to the water tap in the bathroom and the other one is connected to the water tap in the kitchen. If you look in the storage space between the beds you should be able to see the two oulets from there. I guess that one of the oulets is connected to the tube in the picture. I think that you should remove this tube and connect a new tube from the outlet to a water tap. If you keep the tube in the picture I guess that your water tank will be empty quite fast  |

| Hello,
The previous owner of my Vega told me that if I want someday to use the fresh water tank, I should clean it first, because it haven't been used since a long time. How I can proceed for this ? should I take away the tank first ? and what product to use ?
