Replace albin021 by an outboard motor

Hello,

The albin021 that I have is really not in good shape (see pictures) and actually doesn't work anymore so I would like to replace it by an outboard motor, because it's a bit scary to go on the sea with that

Also the reason why I don't want to have an inboard motor is because the installation is out of my out of reach, moreover it would be a lot easier to do some maintenance on an outboard motor.

So my question is do a 10hp is ok for example to reach the Swedish coast from Ã…land or should I go for 15hp ?

Also I would like to take away albin021 but I was wondering of the boat balance, is this ok to do it ? And if yes with what I should block the holes, like the propeller one ?
